i absolutely possess the expertise to do this, but i know the curse words will flow freely the second any of that shit breaks
and good independent blog hosting is cheap with multiple options
@chrisabides.com here’s the thing: you have to do more than ask the question “do i have the requisite hardware and expertise to host this myself?”
the follow-on question must also be: “do i have the expertise and patience to fix this when it breaks?”
then also weigh options.
